It is interesting how the center images of your collage seem to form into one and you really have to look at it to see the different unattached images. The warm colors really tight all of the images together as well.
ReplyDeleteSeduction vs. "Classiness"- There is a balance of both of these in the picture of the model with her hand on her neck looking seductive. On the other hand, there is a bunch of actresses, new and old, who look very classical and glamorous.
ReplyDeleteMedia references-Many pop culture references: TV show Glee, movie Eat Pray Love, and several actresses.
Friends/Casual- Two pictures of friends just hanging out. One giving another a piggie back.
Proximity-Pictures are all together, visually putting them in the same category.
Occam's Razor-This theory is shown because there are not a lot of magazine cut-outs, however, Occam's Razor says do not use what is beyond necessary and it looks perfect with just these entities.
In this collage I noticed themes of both fashion as well as travel. There are pictures of models and actresses, shoes, necklaces and purses all grouped relatively close together. There is also a picture of an old station wagon in the center packed with stuff as well as the word go overlapping the front end that suggests the theme of traveling.
